Terra wandered around the park, unaware of anything other than one fact. Her brother wasn't there. Now most days that would be a relief, but today, well, today she was a bit unsecure. It was weird that he wouldn't meet her but maybe he got held up...

Jenny was wandering around too. She was thinking about what Torent's sister Terra might look like. Randomly, a song came to her mind: I wonder as I wander. She shook it out. It reminded her of Captain Tinker. Then she saw long white hair. Torent's sister! she thought. "Terra! Terra, hey!"

Terra looked up, and saw a girl with a red scarf come barraling towards her. She frowned and wondered how she knew her name. "Umm Hey? I might ask, who are you?"

Jenny blushed in embarrasmment. Of course she didn't know her. "I'm Jenny Linsky. I know your brother, he hangs out with the Cat Club. Sorry about that," she said, referring to her previous action. "How are you?"

Terra smiled. She understood her actions. "Ah! That makes a little more sence. Torent has told me all about you! I shold have guessed by the scarf. I'm fine, just alittle disoriented. DO you have the time?" She really should have guessed. Tor had been telling her about Jenny for months.

"The time?" Jenny looked up. "I'm guessing three o'clock. Maybe. Sorry, I'm not fond of human devices like watches. I'm more of a morning, afternoon and night thinker."

Terra nodded."That would be why my brother isn't here. He said 9 o'clock, but my watch was upside down I guess... How much do you like my brother, by the way?" She figured that she might as well put that out.

Jenny tilted her head to one side and pushed her eyebrows together. "What do you mean?" Then it hit her like a sack of potatoes. Oh, she thought as she looked into Terra's aqua blue eyes. "Your brother's cool." She felt her face heat up. I didn't have problems like this when I was a cat, she growled inwardly. Then she thought, How much do I like Torent? She shrugged. "Why do you ask?"

"Oh... well Torent has been obsessing over you lately. I mean, he really likes you. I just wanted to see what you though of him. How long have you guys been friends?" Terra smiled at Jenny. She was glad that Tor had picked someone that was cool to hang out with. "You should have seen his face when he came and saw me after seeing you for the first time after the 'change'. He was so happy that we weren't the only ones."

Jenny blushed with a smile. "Oh. Well, I think we've been friends for a good while now. And, yeah, it's great when you find out you're not the only half-breed in town." Jenny paused. Should she ask? "Uh, are you sure about-" She reddened a little more. "-about uh, what you said? You shouldn't say things you aren't one hundred percent sure of." Her hand went behind her back, fingers crossed. She had no idea how she felt about Torent, but it would be nice to know how he felt.

Terra smiled. She knew how it felt not to know, but wanting to know all at once. " Jenny, I wouldn't have said anything if I didn't know for sure. I don't mess with people's hearts. It's horrible and mean." She paused thinking. "Tor wouldn't either."

Jenny looked away for a second at the crowd of people. She didn't know what to say. Then she turned back to Terra. "So, what are you going to do until your brother gets here? Because I'm headed to the swings if you want to come." Junior ran out of the crowd. "Jenny! Let's go now!" Then he turned to Terra, and whispered to Jenny, "Wow, she has really long white hair." He nodded in approval. "That's cool. Who is she?" Jenny looked at Junior. "Remember the guy with the white hair?" Junior nodded. "This is his sister, Terra." Junior wiggled his ears and smiled. "I'm Junior and I have no tail and you have pretty hair and I wanna go playyy Jennyyyy," he said. Jenny rolled her eyes and grinned at Terra with a look that said, This is him when he's tired, guess how he is when he's not.

Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down. The swing rocked back and forth beneath Blair as he pushed himself further to new heights. He'd always wanted to fly, and like this, he could get a piece of it (especially now as climbing proved a tad more difficult than before). The metal chains dug into his palms as he held the handles relentlessly, enjoying the wind tossling his air, and the slight burning sensation of keeping his eyes so very open for such a long time. But most of all, he loved the adrenaline pumping through his veins as he went higher and higher into the air.

Junior ran to the swings, Jenny close behind him. "Wow Jenny," he said watching Blair. "Look at him go!" Jenny crossed her arms with a humph. "Come on, let's get you on the swings." Junior ran to the one next to Blair and hopped on. "Wowo! You're amazing on the swings! Can you teach me?" he asked Blair.

"Wowo! You're amazing on the swings! Can you teach me?" he asked Blair The voice cut through his thoughts, leaving him with nothing more than a "Huh", before he abruptly stopped by digging his feet into the ground to end the momentum. Grass and dirt turned over with the action, leaving a small dirt pile against his feet. Ouch He probably should've thought that out more; now his feet hurt. He turned his face toward the little boy. He'd never seen him before, but, since he was with Jenny, he could already guess that he was a half-breed. With a small smile he said "Sure."
