Terra ran towards the abandoned area of the alleys. In there was a tree. In the tree, there was a house. That was where they were bound. "We call it Shejara-Bait. It means tree-house. It's where we live. It's also a safe house. Everyone we know seems to respect the house, and leave it alone. It works." She shrugged. Not much else to say. There was a couch in one corner that she flopped down on. There were other comfy things to sit on around the room aswell. She motioned for jenny and Junior to sit down. "Make yourselves at home."

OOC: thats so groovy! lol its in a tree ><
Junior sat down on the floor next to the couch. Jenny leaned against a wall. "This place is pretty cool. How long have you been living here?" Junior shook his head. "The question is, how much food is here? Cuz I'm hungry."

Terra smiled. She knew the feeling of wonder. " We've been living here since we got kicked out of our last home, so... about 2 or 3 years. And... "she went over to another corner of the room. He voice was muffled as she said, "It's not very modern. What I'm rummaging around in is an old icebox. Much like a fridge, but uses no electricity. Uses big blocks of ice instead. Ahh! Here they are!" And out Terra came with a huge piece of fish, baked, and cut into four pieces. "Help yourselves, but leave some for Tor. Drinks?" She brought our a large jug of water and glasses.

Terra smiled. She loved entertaining guests. "Well, have some water! I'm sorry, but I have no juice. We get the water from a spring, so it's good for you, and I don't like to steal... Tor on the other hand, will go to any means to make sure that his family and persons that he loves are well fed." She looked at Jenny as she said this.

Jenny cleared her throat. "Thanks for the water..." she said as she got a cup. "MMM," Junior said in delight. "Thishish delishish," he told Terra. "Can I have some more?" Jenny laughed. "Here," she said as she gave him her piece. "Don't worry," she told Terra quickly. "I'm not hungry."

Terra looked at Jenny with concern. "Are you sure? You really need your strength, dealing with this little rascal." She looked at Junior and smiled. He reminded her so much of Tor. Tor....I hope he comes home soon. He could be in real trouble... she thought.

"Positive. Junior's not too much trouble," she smiled. When he's behaving... she thought wearily. "So did you make this place or what? Cuz it's really amazing." Junior who had bolted down the fish was now lying on his back. "Mmm," he sighed, his eyes closed. "That was so good. You should really learn how to cook Jenny," he said as he opened one eye facing her.

Terra smiled. "Sorry to disappoint you Jenny, but we didn't make it. It was abandoned when we got here, and the human kids tend to stay away from it cuz cats live here." She shrugged. "We do the best with what we have. And Junior... I can cook, just not well. My brother cooks way better. We have an agreement you see. He does the cooking, and getting stuff to cook, and I do the cleaning, sewing, and other chores." She chuckled. "If he had been here he would have cooked you a huge meal, but the best I can do is this."

Junior sat up. "That's still better than Jenny's cooking," he said. "Junior.." Jenny said. "The last time she cooked, the fish was on fire!" "Junior.." "And when she doesn't engulf the food in flames, it's undercooked. That's how it always is. Undercooked or burnt." "That's not true..." Jenny said. "What about the cake i made for your birthday?" "That's different," Junior told her. "Baking and cooking are two different things. You should really learn how to cook." "Well I don't know Junior, what do you think Terra?" Jenny asked her. "Should I?"

Terra watched the debate with a smile. When Jenny asked her what she thought, Terra had to think about her answer. Finally she said "Well, being able to cook is really good. It helps, and you could get a job cooking if you get good at it." Suddenly she got an idea. "Jenny, I bet Tor would love to learn to bake. Why don't you and he trade skills? Then at least Junior and I would be happy!"She joked. She whispered to Junior. "My brother can't bake to save his life..."

Jenny laughed. "I couldn't, really. The Captain's tried-" "He tried alright," Junior interrupted. "-and even he can't teach me! I've just got to admit defeat." Jenny shrugged. "Me plus cooking equals disaster." "Extreme disaster," Junior corrected.

Terra shook her head. "I will nat admit defeat! You will learn to cook if it's the last thing I do. or Tor does. You and Junior will stay here, and the three of us can learn from Tor. Then Jenny can teach Tor, Junior and I how to bake." She started all that with a calm tone.

"Okay," Jenny laughed. "You seem determined to have me learn to cook." "And I don't learn to cook," Junior told her. "I just eat what other people cook." "Does he ever," Jenny whispered to Terra. "Junior once ate all the food at the Cat Club picnic. His stomach is a bottomless pit. Or a really deep well." Junior grinned sheepishly. "I'll teach you how to bake. It's the least I can do."

Terra smiled. "Ah a victory! Lovely. Now if only Tor would get back..... I worry about him way too much I guess." She looked at Jenny with a miscevious look. "You do too, I can see."
